Dear Colleagues: The US Education Information Center (EIC)/ American Councils has a pleasure to share with you our schedule of lectures for the next week, November 3-7. All mentioned below lectures are held in Melnykova, 63 (metro "Lukyanivska") at 16:00 at the conference room of the EIC. 1) November 4, Tuesday: "How to Write a Letter of Recommendation" - Lecture in Ukrainian. This is useful both for Recommendation Writers and Recommendation Seekers as gives an overview of this document structure, advice to both sides how to write or seek a recommendation in the best manner. 2) November 5, Wednesday: "How to Write a Resume" - gives an overview of a standard format of resume, specifics of resume type when applying to an academic program or looking for a job. 3) November 6, Thursday: "How to Write a Research Proposal" - gives basic ideas what is a good research proposal, how to attract attention when applying to fellowships/scholarships, linguistic specifics of writing a research proposal.
