ICPLC 2005 will be focused on separate topics in laser crystals physics including: theoretical and experimental problems of wide-zone doped crystals -1, semiconductors -2 , nano-crystals - 3, growth and investigation of materials - 4, construction and testing of laser systems - 5, mathematical foundations - 6, and information on management, and security - 7. Separate sessions will be organised for free discussions.

The scientific program of the Conference includes reviews, invited lectures, communications, short reports (during Microsymposia), poster sessions and panel discussions. The Program Committee introduces a new presentation option called "review" and "invited original talk” addressed to the contributors.
