The IEICE Transactions on Fundamentals announces a forthcoming Special Section on Nonlinear Theory and its Applications to be published in September, 2004. The objective of this Special Section is to discuss, through papers, new theories and applications in this field. The Special Section solicits paper submission particularly from people who prepared for NOLTA 2003 which was canceled due to the spread of SARS. uggested topics include but are not limited to the following:

The submitted papers are edited by the Editorial Committee of Special Section. The deadline of the paper submission is December 20, 2003. Prospective authors are requested to submit papers in PDF format via the web site at http://www.nolta2003.csce.kyushu-u.ac.jp/. All manuscripts should be prepared according to the style guidelines indicated in the "information for authors" attached to the IEICE Transactions.
