The US Education Information Center (EIC)/ American Councils is pleased to share with you our lecturing schedule for the next week, Nov 17-21, and invite you and your colleagues/ students to attend events devoted to the International Education Week, Nov 17-21: 1) Nov 17, Monday; 16:00: "Funding for the US Study" - Lecture - gives an info about types of financial aid at the US universities, methods/techniques of receiving grants/scholarships/fellowships from private fondations. 2) Nov 18, Tuesday; 16:00: "How to Complete College Applications" - Lecture - gives an advice how to present yourself as a good candidate when filling out application forms, how to write student's essays and ask for letters of recommendation. 3) Nov 19, Wednesday; 16:00: "How to Write a Statement of Purpose (Graduate Study)" - Lecture - gives a general description of statement structure, advice on how to organize your thoughts to write a winning Statement. 4) Nov 20, Thursday; 16:00: "Studying Medicine in the US" - Lecture - gives a general description of stages for medical graduates applying to the US medical programs, info about ECFMG certification, techniques of taking medical knowledge exams. As always all lectures are hosted in Melnykova, 63 (metro station "Lukyanivska") at the conference room of EIC.
